Cowhide Biomass Boilers at Great Yorkshire Show

re:heat’s world 1st

The Yorkshire Show is England’s leading Agricultural Event, and that’s why re:heat, the North’s wood heating specialist,  have chosen to launch their Limited Edition Cow Hide biomass boiler covers.COW

re:heat, who last week announced a record breaking rise in their turnover, which hit £3 million in just 3 years of trading, are keen innovators in biomass energy projects in the business and domestic markets. To mark this turnover milestone on their stand at the Yorkshire Show, the company will be giving for the first ten orders for their ETA domestic biomass boilers a free cow hide boiler cover.

Boiler covers are usually given standard wood effect or brushed steel finish, but these cow hide covers are a different pedigree.  There’s a choice of two domestic biomass boilers that the cow hide covers are available for.  Examples of the boilers and their cow hide coat will be available to pat throughout the show on Stand Number 388.

“Cow hide is absolutely on-trend, and a highly appropriate product to offer customers at an agricultural show,” says re:heat Director and Head of Cow Hide Procurement, Ben Tansey.

“More and more people are looking at the aesthetics of biomass boilers, which typically look like the offspring of a cashpoint and a fruit machine, so with our new cow hide cover, we will be actively helping to enhance the homes of some of our customers.”

These are very much a Limited Edition – there will be only ten produced and they are not on the market for sale.  After a site visit with one of re:heat’s approved installers, the first ten that make an order will receive one of these genuine cow hide boiler covers.

As Ben adds, “We are proud to have a world first for designer boiler covers, as we are proud to be involved with the great Yorkshire Show.  It’s all part of our campaign for the boiler to be thought of as the heart of the home. Why shouldn’t it be considered as part of the family?  We think they should be dressed to impress and not banished to a garage or outbuilding?

“ETA is an Austrian manufacturer of Biomass Boilers and Austria has some wonderful cattle, so we are happy to bring the two together.”

Ben started re:heat with colleague Neil Harrison as a part time business three years ago, but the enterprise quickly became a full-time commitment.  The biomass heat sector is currently enjoying unprecedented expansion on the back of the Government’s Renewable Heat Incentive (RHI), which provides financial incentives over for home and business owners opting for green heating systems.

re:heat work with customers to find the best system for their needs, from designing and fitting, through to advising on operating the boiler and finding local fuel suppliers or preparing their own wood for use as fuel.

re:heat are based in Alnwick and can be contacted by telephone on 01665 665 040.

re:heat

re:heat was established in May 2011, and formally launched in April 2012 when Neil Harrison and Ben Tansey went full-time with the company.  Ben, a resident of Rothbury, and Neil, who lives near Boulmer, have supported the growth of the UK woodfuel industry for a decade.  Both have also worked for Northwoods – a Forestry Commission supported initiative to develop the forest industries in the north east.
